We perform a catalog of 177 molecular clouds in an extensive region (0.4kpc2) of the SMC. We use the CPROPS algorithm to identify the molecular clouds and estimate their main CO parameters. We analyze the scaling relations between the radius, velocity dispersion, luminosity, and virial mass of the SMC clouds, and they are compared with those of other low-metallicity galaxies. We also analyze the mass spectrum of the SMC by using the cumulative mass distribution. We study the dynamic state and stability of dust clouds associated with CO emission within our observed area. We estimate the viral mass- and dust-based CO-to-H2 conversion factor of the SMC. Finally, we study the link between molecular clouds and star-forming regions. Description: Parameters of CO clouds in the SMC are reported. All these parameters, which were obtained by using CPROPS (Rosolowsky et al., 2006PASP..118..590R 2006PASP..118..590R), are corrected for bias sensitivity and resolution. We provide the APEX data cubes used in this article. Seven regions were observed in the SMC, where the CO emission in the transition J=2-1 was detected. Four regions (SW-Bar, DarkPK, NE-Bar, N66) are in the Bar of the SMC, and the other three regions (N83, NGC 602, N88) are located in the Wing of the galaxy.
