J/A+AS/132/93 Hipparcos photometry of CP stars (Adelman 1998)

On the Hipparcos photometry of Chemically Peculiar B, A, and F stars Adelman S.J. <Astron. Astrophys. Suppl. Ser. 132, 93 (1998)> =1998A&AS..132...93A 1998A&AS..132...93A (SIMBAD/NED BibCode)
ADC_Keywords: Stars, peculiar ; Stars, early-type ; Photometry Keywords: stars: early-type - stars: chemically peculiar Abstract: The Hipparcos photometry of the chemically peculiar main-sequence B, A and F stars are examined for variability. Some non-magnetic CP stars, Mercury-Manganese and metallic-line stars, which according to canonical wisdom should not be variable, may be variable and are identified for further study. Some potentially important magnetic CP stars are noted.
