A total of 471 sources are tabulated; 306 of these form a well defined, complete sample. The influence of the selection criteria on sample completeness is discussed. Angular size distribution has been precisely derived, in virtue of the 3 km resolution obtainable with the present instrument, and a smaller fraction of sources larger than about 20arcsec is noted for the 1-10mJy range than for the 10-100mJy. The 1412MHz source counts are consistent at different cutoff levels, showing that the statistical corrections for population and resolution bias are reliable. The present counts are consistent with previous 1.4GHz counts, which are here given for the 1-100000mJy flux range. WSTB 52W NNA, WSTB 53W NNA, WSTB 54W NNA and WSTB 55W NNA in Simbad. Note (2): An * indicates that for this source multiple components were found, which are listed directly below, and are labelled A, B, C, etc. A detectable central component is always labelled "C". Generally, A and B are the western and easternmost components Note (3): Total flux density, corrected for primary beam attenuation and noise overestimation. This value is unbiased or best estimate of the total flux density. Note (4): Resolution code: U: unresolved R: resolved E: extended ET: extended triple ED: extended double Note (5): Observed total sky flux density, not corrected for noise overestimation. Note (6): The weight includes both incompleteness due to primary beam attenuation and resolution bias. Note (7): Notes: @ : the source was below the 5σ peak flux density cut-off in the 3km map, but above this level in the 1.5km map. O : the source was seen in the overlapping area of two fields. For SA57, it means that is was also seen in the VLA map of Owen and Thuan. V : the total fluxes in the two overlapping fields differed by more than 3 times the combined flux error so that the source may be variable H : the source has a low surface brightness halo as found by comparison of contour lots from the 1.5 and 3km maps. T : head tail source, generally suggested by the position of the optical identification (see Paper II, Windhorst et al., Cat. J/A+A/58/39) B : a bridge of radio emission is visible between the components of an extended source X : detected as an X-ray source by the Einstein Observatory (Katgert et al., 1983ApJ...275....1K 1983ApJ...275....1K) C : a contour plot of this source is given in figure 10. * : radio source not in the complete sample (table7b of the publication) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: In Andernach's list as number R305 References: Windhorst et al., Paper II 1984A&AS...58...39W 1984A&AS...58...39W, Cat.
