Note (2): Except for G3647 we have assumed abundances of -1 for stars with (B-V) >0.7 and calculated velocities and absolute magnitudes accordingly -these stars are not included in any of the velocity statistic calculations. Stars marked * have discordant trigonometric and photometric parallaxes, and the "anomalous" high-velocity, metal-rich ([Fe/H]≥ -1) stars are identified by (1). Individual stars marked (G) discussed in the text G11504 and G14367 have abnormally strong G-band strength compared to the HK absorption, while stars marked (w) H719 and G8724 have weak G-bands. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Table 3b: Abundance standard stars ---------------------------------------------------- Star RV B-V [Fe/H] H' G K16 ---------------------------------------------------- HD 160691 -15 0.70 +0.41 1.25 6.21 9.00 HD 158614 -78 0.73 +0.02 0.94 6.25 9.18 HD 192310 -65 0.88 -0.03 0.03 6.87 9.34 HD 191408 -137 0.87 -0.07 0.02 5.92 9.87 HD 189567 -1 0.64 -0.28 1.14 5.86 8.58 HD 157089 -167 0.60 -0.53 1.73 4.32 8.32 HD 213567 77 0.42 -2.15 2.14 1.29 3.80 HD 140283 -176 0.49 -2.40 1.82 1.87 3.06 22885-96 -210 0.72 -3.0 1.51 -0.03 2.30 G64-12 452 0.38 -3.4 2.99 0.61 1.21 22948-93 398 0.39 -4.0 2.54 -0.24 0.26 22876-32 -75 0.40 -4.0 2.67 0.29 0.44 ---------------------------------------------------- Historical notes: Keypunched at CDS
