Scanned CCD V and I Photometry at the South Galactic Pole Caldwell J.A.R., Schechter P.L. <Astron. J. 112, 772 (1996)> =1996AJ....112..772C 1996AJ....112..772C
ADC_Keywords: Galactic pole, south ; Photometry, CCD Abstract: Catalogs of V and I photometry for two 20 square degree regions near the South Galactic Pole, containing 30,000 and 19,000 stars, have been constructed using a CCD in time delay integration mode. Internal and external comparisons indicate a characteristic photometric accuracy ranging from 0.02mag at V∼12 to 0.05 at V∼18-18.5. Description: The tables described below correspond to tables I-VII as mentioned in sections 5 and 6 of the printed paper. Note on S: A split star has at least some contributory data where another star was sufficiently close that the "split star" method of solution (Schechter et al, 1993PASP..105.1342S 1993PASP..105.1342S) was invoked. Note on U: A "u" appears for stars so faint that the nonlinearity correction (Section 4 of the printed paper) was excessively uncertain. These were excluded from all use and are thus not included in the totals given in Table 2 of the printed paper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: table3.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 6 I6 --- CS1 CS1 star number 8- 9 I2 h RAh Right ascension (1950) 11- 12 I2 min RAm Right ascension (1950) 14- 18 F5.2 s RAs Right ascension (1950) 20 A1 --- DE- Declination sign (1950) 21- 22 I2 deg DEd Declination (1950) 24- 25 I2 arcmin DEm Declination (1950) 27- 30 F4.1 arcsec DEs Declination (1950) 32- 38 F7.3 mag Vcs []?
