We confirm the Jovian-mass planets HD33142b and c, with periods of Pb=330.0-0.4+0.4days and Pc=810.2-4.2+3.8days and minimum dynamical masses of mbsini=1.26-0.05+0.05MJup and mcsini=0.89-0.05+0.06MJup, respectively. Furthermore, our periodogram analysis of the precise RVs shows strong evidence for a short-period Doppler signal in the residuals of a two-planet Keplerian fit, which we interpret as a third, Saturn-mass planet with mdsini=0.20-0.03+0.02MJup in a close-in orbit with an orbital period of Pd=89.9-0.1+0.1days. We study the dynamical behavior of the three-planet system configuration with an N-body integration scheme, finding it to be long-term stable with the planets alternating between low and moderate eccentricity episodes. We also perform N-body simulations, including stellar evolution and second-order dynamical effects such as planet-stellar tides and stellar mass loss on the way to the white dwarf phase. We find that planets HD33142b, c, and d are likely to be engulfed near the tip of the red giant branch phase due to tidal migration. These results make the HD33142 system an essential benchmark for planet population statistics of the multiple-planet systems found around evolved stars. Description: The Fiber-fed Extended Range Optical Spectrograph(FEROS) is an echelle spectrograph installed at the 2.2m Max Planck Gesellschaft (MPG/ESO) telescope at ESO's La Silla Observatory, Chile, and has a resolving power of R=48000. We obtained 27 spectra with FEROS from our survey and found one additional FEROS spectrum in the ESO archive which was taken on 2012 February 22. The High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher (HARPS) is a precise cross-dispersed echelle spectrograph installed at the ESO 3.6m telescope at La Silla Observatory, Chile. It has a spectral resolution of R=115000 and reaches an RV measurement precision of ∼1m/s. We obtained 88 high signal-to-noise spectra for HD33142 within our HARPS survey, and found 10 more HARPS spectra for this star in the ESO archive. The High Resolution Echelle Spectrometer (HIRES) is a grating cross-dispersed echelle spectrograph mounted on the KECK 10m telescope on Mauna Kea, Hawaii. It has a spectral resolving power of R=25000-85000, depending on the chosen slit and can reach a precision of ∼3m/s when the highest resolution is used. We use 40 archival HIRES spectra taken from 2007 October to 2020 March corresponding to a temporal baseline of ∼4500days.
