Abstract:
We report results from our z∼5.5-7 galaxy search in the Hubble Space
Telescope Ultra Deep Field (UDF). Using the 400 orbit of Advanced
Camera for Surveys data, we found 108 plausible 5.5≤z≤6.5 (or z∼6
for short) candidates to mAB(z850)=30.0mag.

Note (1): Photometric properties of the 108 z∼6 candidates discovered in
the UDF. The first 12 objects are the candidates that have been
identified in the UDF NICMOS images.
Note (2): There are six multiple systems among these candidates, four of which
are within the NICMOS UDF area. The members of these systems have
their ID in bold face. Note that object 1a is a known galaxy at z=5.83
Note (3): With 0 for the most extended sources and 1 for the most
compact sources.
Note (4): Derived by assuming a Gaussian core.
