Abstract:
We are exploring a spectroscopic unification for all types of
broad-line emitting AGNs. The four-dimensional Eigenvector 1 (4DE1)
parameter space organizes quasar diversity in a sequence primarily
governed by Eddington ratio. This paper considers the role of CIV
λ1549 measures as 4DE1 diagnostics. We use HST archival spectra
for 130 sources with S/N high enough to permit reliable CIV
λ1549 broad-component measures.

Note (2): In units of 1e-13 erg/s/cm2.
Note (3): Flag on FCIVNC as follows:
A = major absorptions (typically of mini-BALs) affecting the profile
of CIV (150nm) broad component
a = narrow absorptions that "eat away" CIV (150nm) narrow component
but that do not hamper CIV (150nm) broad component measurements
Note (4): If "E_Kurt" isn't blank then "e_Kurt" is the lower uncertainty.
