K-Band Galaxy Counts McLeod B.A., Bernstein G.M., Rieke M.J., Tollestrup E.V., Fazio G.G. <Astrophys. J. Suppl. Ser. 96, 117 (1995)> =1995ApJS...96..117M 1995ApJS...96..117M
ADC_Keywords: Galaxies, IR Keywords: galaxies: general - infrared: galaxies Abstract: We present new counts of field galaxies from more than 20 arcmin^2 to a limiting magnitude of K = 20 and from 2 arcmin^2 to K = 21.5. At the faintest magnitudes, the counts are slightly higher than those reported previously, though still consistent given the small numbers of galaxies in the two samples.
