Abstract:
We present a list of Castor stream members compiled based on the data
from various authors found in publications as Castor star stream
membership. A set of astrophysical parameters such as distances from
the Sun, radial velocities, multiplicity presented from different
sources.
Description:
We use the results of five studies:
1) The Caballero (2010A&A...514A..98C 2010A&A...514A..98C) candidate objects of the Castor
moving group. The most extensive list of the five authors, as a basis
for our compilation. The stars from Caballero (2010A&A...514A..98C 2010A&A...514A..98C)
have No 1-71 in our list. Stars with No. 21 (Castor A) and No.22
(Castor B) in Caballero (2010A&A...514A..98C 2010A&A...514A..98C) are as single star
(Castor AB).
2) Anosova & Orlov (1991A&A...252..123A 1991A&A...252..123A) identified 10 stars as
probable Castor group members. Three of them are not from the
Caballero list. We add these three stars with No. 72-74.
3) Agekyan & Orlov (1984AZh....61...60A 1984AZh....61...60A) found nine moving groups in
the solar vicinity. The space motion one of them close to Castor group
space velocity. The eight stars from Agekyan & Orlov
(1984AZh....61...60A 1984AZh....61...60A) (No.75-82) are added to our list.
4) Barrado y Navascues (1998A&A...339..831B 1998A&A...339..831B) used the Hipparcos
catalog data to identify the 16 stars as bona fide members of the
Castor stream. All 16 stars was included in the Caballero
(2010A&A...514A..98C 2010A&A...514A..98C) list and used by us.
5) Shkolnik et. al. (2012, Cat. J/ApJ/758/56) found six additional
candidates from their study of M-type dwarfs. We add these six stars
with No.83-88. We adopted the radial velocities from SIMBAD. For the
six stars from Shkolnik et al. (2012, Cat. J/ApJ/758/56) we adopt its
original Vr from that paper. The common stars from the cited above
five papers can be found using the flags in the description of our
catalogue.
