Redshifts
Keywords: astronomical catalogs - elliptical galaxies - quasars -
active or peculiar galaxies, objects, and systems - radio galaxies -
statistical and correlative studies of properties - radio sources -
observational cosmology - magnitudes and colors
Description:
This catalog groups the 2442 galaxies making up the sample of distant
galaxies prepared by the authors published as 3 papers in 2009: radio
data (paper I, table1), photometric data (paper II, table2), and
angular sizes (paper III, table 3).
The sample of distant (z>0.3) radio galaxies is aimed at application
in cosmological tests. It was created using NED, SDSS, and CATS
databases, and is assumed to be cleaned from objects with quasar
properties.

Note (1): Name of the source catalog or source names in the case of
3C and 4C surveys.
Note (2): There are the next symbol names as follows:
VisS = Visual source
GPair = Double galaxies
AbLS = Spectrum with absorption lines
GClstr = Cluster of galaxies
G Lens = Gravitational lens
Note (3): α in relation S(ν)=να.
No spectral indices are given for galaxies with the fluxes measured
only at a single frequency (e.g., SDSS objects with the data from the
FIRST catalog, Cat. VIII/71).
