Abstract:We present a multi-wavelength catalog in the Subaru/XMM-Newton Deep Field (SXDF) as part of the Spitzer Large Area Survey with Hyper-Suprime-Cam (SPLASH). We include the newly acquired optical data from the Hyper-Suprime-Cam Subaru Strategic Program, accompanied by IRAC coverage from the SPLASH survey. All available optical and near-infrared data is homogenized and resampled on a common astrometric reference frame. Source detection is done using a multi-wavelength detection image including the u-band to recover the bluest objects. We measure multi-wavelength photometry and compute photometric redshifts as well as physical properties for ~1.17 million objects over ~4.2deg^2^, with ~800000 objects in the 2.4deg^2^

For this photometric catalog, we use the optical Subaru
Hyper-Suprime-Cam (HSC) imaging and the MIR warm-Spitzer data combined
with archival optical and NIR imaging available from a variety of
instruments and surveys. In this paper, we focus on a total area of
4.2deg^2^ centered at RAJ2000=02:18:00, DEJ2000=-5:00:00, matching the
size of the available IRAC mosaics.
The catalog contains multi-wavelength photometry, photometric
redshifts, and stellar masses. The catalog consists of ~1.16M objects
detected on a multi-band detection image made by chi-squared summing
the HSC-grzy, UDS-JHK, VIDEO-YHJKs, MUSUBI-u, CFHTLS-ugri to ensure
selection of both red and blue objects. The photometry is measured on
PSF-homogenized images to have a uniform typical seeing of 0.7" in all
bands.
HSC: The Hyper-Suprime-Cam Subaru Strategic Program (HSC-SSP; Aihara+
2018PASJ...70S...4A) covers the SXDF in the grizy filters using the
Hyper-Suprime-Cam on the Subaru 8m telescope on Maunakea, Hawaii. The
Ultra-Deep layer of the HSC-SSP covers two fields, COSMOS and SXDF, in
broadband and narrowband filters.
The catalog contains the HSC-SSP optical data and Spitzer IRAC
coverage obtained as part of the Spitzer Large Area with
Hyper-Suprime-Cam (SPLASH) program (PID: 10042, PI: Capak, P. Capak et
al. 2018, in preparation). Additional coverage from the Subaru
SuprimeCam, UDS, VIDEO, MUSUBI and CFHTLS surveys is also included.
The catalog also provides ancillary radio (Simpson+ 2006,
J/MNRAS/372/741) and X-ray (Akiyama+ 2015PASJ...67...82A) data.
Suprime-Cam: Additional optical coverage is available from the
Subaru/XMM-Newton Deep Survey (SXDS; Furusawa+ 2008, J/ApJS/176/1),
which includes BVRci'z' filters from the Subaru Suprime-Cam.
UDS: The Ultra Deep Survey (UDS) includes NIR imaging in the JHK
filters on the SXDF from the UKIRT Wide-Field Camera. We use the JHK
mosaics from their Data Release 11
(http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/astronomy/UDS/data/dr11.html).
VIDEO: The VISTA Deep Extragalactic Observations (VIDEO) survey
(Jarvis+ 2013, III/334) covers the SXDF in ZYJHKs filters using the
VISTA Infrared Camera (VIRCAM).
MUSUBI: The ultra-deep CFHT u-band stack is provided by the program
Megacam Ultra-deep Survey: U-Band Imaging (MUSUBI, W.-H. Wang et al.
2018, in preparation). The MUSUBI team acquired 41.8hr of u-band
integration between 2012 and 2016, using MegaCam on CFHT. The image
stack also includes 18.7hr of archived MegaCam u-band data within the
SXDF.
CFHTLS: The CFHT Legacy Survey (CFHTLS) also covers the SXDF in ugriz
filters using MegaCam on CFHT, as part of its wide-field coverage. We
use the stacked mosaics released in the Terapix CFHTLS T0007 release
(http://www.cfht.hawaii.edu/Science/CFHTLS/).
Photometric redshifts are available for all objects in the catalog
computed using LePhare (Arnouts+ 1999MNRAS.310..540A ; Ilbert+
2006A&A...457..841I). These photo-z's have been calibrated using
spectroscopic data available from the variety of surveys and archival
data in the literature.
