Radial velocities in BDA
Radial velocities collected in the database have been obtained from various techniques:
- Photographic plates
- Objective prism plates
- Focal reducer plates
- Spectrographs with CCD detectors
- Photoelectric radial velocity scanners
A review of radial velocity observations
in open clusters published in the Publications de l'Observatoire
Astronomique de Belgrade no 40 (1990) describes these techniques
and presents the available data as well as the results obtained.
